Photos Of The Week – 4/5/10

A stubborn but still-working link to America’s industrial past, the Charles D. McAllister comes out of the last active remnant…..

…..of the old  Bush Terminal at 50th St. in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park with a car float from NYNJ Rail alongside…..

…..cuts across the bottom of the Bay Ridge Flats and…..

…..heads across the Upper Bay for the Greenville Yard in Jersey City. This has been going on, in one form or another, for over 100 years. These photos were taken on February 9, 2010.
